Random thoughts about insatiable wanderlust and other disconnected musings.

Have you ever been on the front page of a newspaper?
Yes- fifth highest circulating one in the nation- a profile piece. The story below mine was about a drugstore bandit, who stole $25k in cash. It kept me humble...lol.
I'm just another black girl caught up in the racial mix, fully assimilated American for generations. I've traveled. I work in the media, and am sometimes called a local celebrity, which means I can't get through the supermarket without saying hello to someone. I've lived in the South and the North. I've been a fixture on the charity dinner circuit (snore) writing socially irrelevant commentary about the "good work" of others lately. I collect fond memories of love, and humorous stories about break-ups- of both boyfriends AND friends. I write grammar poor posts about some of the moments that made me pause, and laugh. Sometimes I set the thoughts to music, so if you like r & b, and some hip-hop, it'll entertain you. I'm not really a fan of any famous people. I don't really watch television other than the news. I am too frank, and I pay too much attention to idiosyncratic tendencies of others. Most of all, I laugh too much.
